Luke Chen

Luke Chen serves as the Executive Director of Gift Accounting, Reporting, and Investment Management at the University of California, Riverside, since July 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Financial Analyst and Senior Staff Accountant at Athens Services, and as a Financial Controller at Ative Group, where responsibilities encompassed financial statement preparation, budget development, and executive leadership within the accounting department. Earlier in the career, Luke held positions at Carpenter, Petersen & Associates, CPA's as a Senior Accountant, and at Moore Stephens Wurth Frazer and Torbet, LLP as a Semi-Senior Tax Associate, gaining extensive experience in tax preparation, financial statement compilation, and team management. Luke holds an MBA from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from the University of California, Riverside.
