Pat Miller

Pat Miller is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software engineering and mentoring. Currently serving as the Head Mentor for WSO Academy at Wall Street Oasis since March 2023, Pat also holds a position as a College Lecturer at the University of California, Riverside. Previous roles include engineering positions at Instagram and smlXL, where contributions were made to backend performance and development. Pat has provided advisory services at Quant Satoshi, supported high-performance computing initiatives at Citadel LLC and Quantlab Financial, and developed software solutions for Beacon Platform Inc and D. E. Shaw Research. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis, a Master's in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University, and a BGS with a focus in Computer Science from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, complemented by a Secondary Teaching Credential in Mathematics from San Jose State University.
