John Fyson

John Fyson has extensive experience in administrative roles within higher education and research environments. Currently serving as Administrative Officer 3 for the Cancer Plus Team at the University of California, San Francisco since August 2019, John previously held the position of Administrative Officer 2 at UC Berkeley, where key responsibilities included managing daily operations of a leading research laboratory and providing financial projections and resource advisement. Earlier roles include Department Manager and Undergraduate Administrator at the London School of Economics, where John oversaw departmental operations and managed undergraduate programs. Additional experience includes positions as Publications Manager at the University of Westminster Students Union, Court Administrator at the Lord Chancellor's Department, and Account Administrator at Gissings. John holds a degree in Applied and Environmental Geology from the University of Birmingham.
