Benjamin Sievers

Doctoral Student at University of Cambridge

Benjamin Sievers is a doctoral student at the University of Cambridge since June 2024, pursuing a PhD in Medicine. Prior to this role, Benjamin co-founded Stand For Courage, an initiative recognized with the American Psychological Association Visionary Award in 2016 for promoting a bystander culture to combat bullying. Additionally, Benjamin served as a Fulbright Scholar at the Institut Pasteur du Cambodge and conducted research on COVID-19 at the J. Craig Venter Institute. Benjamin has experience as a runway model for Remade in Cambodia and as a founder of both IMUNE Coin and B2 Diagnostics, the latter receiving the Global Health Award in 2020 for developing innovative diagnostic technologies. Other relevant roles include working as an Emergency Medical Technician at UC San Diego Health and a laboratory assistant at BioAtla LLC. Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Pitzer College and completed a Fulbright Scholarship at the Pasteur Institute.
