Charu Uppal Mba

Charu Uppal MBA, CFRE currently serves as the Associate Director of Advancement at the University of Canterbury since July 2023. Prior to this role, Charu held positions including Adjunct Professor at Portland State University, where instruction focused on leadership for the non-profit sector, and Associate Director of Individual Giving at the Portland Art Museum. Experience also includes serving as the Annual Giving and Donor Communications Manager at the Oregon Zoo Foundation, and Marketing and Communications Manager at the Fairbanks Children's Museum. Charu's academic background includes an M.B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and an M.A. in Professional Communication from the same institution. Additional training includes participation in the Association of Fundraising Professionals' Mentoring and Leadership Development Program in 2020.
