Jamie Anstice

Jamie Anstice is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and application architecture, currently serving as the Head of Software Engineering at the University of Canterbury since June 2015. Prior to this role, Jamie worked at Telogis as a Lead Business Intelligence Engineer, where responsibilities included leading a development team and modernizing customer-facing reporting systems. As a co-founder of SLI Systems from August 2001 to November 2010, Jamie contributed to significant advancements in web analytics and search engine technology and played a crucial role in the company's growth from 5 to over 50 employees. Earlier career positions include software engineering roles at NBCi and Globalbrain, as well as a programmer/analyst position at the University of Canterbury. Jamie holds an MSc (Hons) in Computer Science and a BSc from the University of Canterbury.
