Professor Mick Grimley

Professor Mick Grimley serves as the Dean of Future Learning and Development at the University of Canterbury. Previously, Professor Grimley held multiple significant roles at Torrens University Australia, including Pro-Vice-Chancellor – Research, Dean of Education, and Director of the Centre for Research in Education and Design. Additionally, a Chair and Academic Director of Teacher Education and Associate Professor/Professor were positions held at Swinburne University of Technology. Academic experience also includes roles as Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor at the University of Canterbury and Research Associate in Education at the University of Birmingham. Professor Grimley earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Educational Psychology from the School of Education at the University of Birmingham and a P.G.C.E. in Primary Education from the University of Central England.
