Amy Kiger's work experience began in 2000 as a Coordinator at Miami University. Amy then moved on to the University of Central Missouri in 2002, where they initially worked as a Coordinator for Health Promotion and Wellness Services. In 2005, they transitioned to the role of Assistant Director for University Health Services. In 2009, they became the Director of Violence and Substance Abuse Prevention at the University of Central Missouri, a position they held until June 2018. From June 2018 to the present, they have been serving as the Director of Campus Community Health at the same university.
Amy Kiger earned a Bachelor's degree in Educational and Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1995. Amy then went on to receive a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Central Missouri between 1995 and 1998. Most recently, Amy obtained a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from the University of Missouri-Columbia, completing their studies in 2021.
