Steven Ake has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as the Director of the Business Computing Center at the University of Central Missouri since August 2001. Prior to that, they served as the Missouri Local Traffic Information System (MOTIS) Program Manager at Unit from April 1998 to August 2001. Steven began their career in the United States Air Force and held the position of Chief Master Sergeant (Ret) from April 1970 to January 1998.
Steven Ake has a Master of Arts degree in Computer Resources and Information Management from Webster University. Steven also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Studies from the University of Maryland. Additionally, Steven has an Associate in Applied Science degree in Engineering from Georgia Military College, Milledgeville, GA, as well as two separate Associate in Applied Science degrees in Electronics Engineering Technology and Avionics Communication-Navigation Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force, Air Training Command.
