Kristina A. Stevens

Kristina A. Stevens serves as the Director of Mental Health at the University of Connecticut since January 2021, bringing extensive experience in child welfare and mental health. Previously, Stevens held the position of Senior Manager for North America Health and Public Sector at Accenture from August 2019 to January 2021, and held various roles at the Connecticut Department of Children and Families from 1995 to 2019, including Children and Families Administrator and Deputy Commissioner. Additional experience includes serving as Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Smith College School of Social Work, where curriculum development focused on child welfare policy for graduate students, and Division Director at Casey Family Services, overseeing a $4 million budget and driving program innovation and growth. Stevens holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from The University of Connecticut.
