Vern Granger

Vern Granger currently serves as the Director of Undergraduate Admissions at the University of Connecticut since October 2018. With extensive experience in the field, Granger has held significant positions including Chair of the National Association for College Admission Counseling from September 2021 to September 2024, and Executive Director of Undergraduate Admissions at The Ohio State University from July 2012 to October 2018. Additional roles include Assistant Dean and Director of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at the University of Tennessee and Senior Associate Director at North Carolina State University. Granger holds a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
