Thomas Østerbye is a Co-Owner and Co-Founder of immunAware ApS since July 2018, with a significant academic career at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen beginning in June 2009. At the University, Thomas holds the positions of Scientific and Technical Manager for the ElectroMed project, which focuses on electrochemically-enabled high-throughput peptidomics, and Associate Professor, conducting research on immune specificities, T- and B cell epitopes, and MHC class II Tetramers. Thomas has also coordinated an FP7 research project on high-density peptide microarrays and has extensive experience from a previous role as a Scientist at Copenhagen University Hospital - Rigshospitalet. Thomas holds a PhD in Diabetes research from the University of Copenhagen and a Master's degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry from DTU - Technical University of Denmark.
