Peter graduated with an LLB from Newcastle Upon Tyne University before qualifying as a barrister (1992) and a solicitor (1997). he spent six years working in the city before joining local firm Cartmell Shepherd Solicitors in 1998.
He became an Associate in 2002 and a Partner in 2011, prior to becoming the firm's Managing Director in 2016.
