Laura Dean is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in alumni engagement and relations within higher education. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Alumni Engagement for STEM at the University of Denver since January 2018, Laura previously held various positions, including Assistant Dean and Director of Alumni Relations at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law from 2009 to 2017. Additional experience includes the role of Director of Experiential Education & Career Services at Johnson & Wales University, and Manager of Professional Development at Holland & Hart, LLP, where Laura developed comprehensive training programs and mentor initiatives. Earlier roles include Director of Alumni Relations at the University of Denver College of Law, Director of Reunions at Southern Methodist University, and various event and fundraising positions. Laura holds a Master’s Degree in Leadership and Organization from the University of Denver and a BA in Journalism, French, and Political Science from Texas A&M University.
