Rachel Forbes is a seasoned academic and practitioner in the field of social work with extensive experience in higher education and clinical practice. Currently serving as a Professor of the Practice of Social Work at the University of Denver since August 2013, Rachel also holds the position of Western Colorado MSW Program Director at Colorado Mountain College, where Rachel has been an Adjunct Professor in the Sustainability Studies program since August 2011. Prior to these roles, Rachel worked as a Clinical Social Worker at Mind Springs Health & West Springs Hospital from June 2012 to August 2013. Rachel earned a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) from Monmouth University, specializing in International and Community Development, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Loyola University Maryland.
