Spencer Brewster

Spencer Brewster is an experienced engineer currently serving as Engineer II in Mechatronics at The Toro Company, focusing on testing and integration of autonomous lawn mowers. Additionally, Spencer is a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Denver, where the development of a dynamic Finite Element model for the robot MITHRA and optimization of its foot design have been undertaken. As an RPA Developer Intern at Lumen Technologies, Spencer creates automation solutions and documents business procedures. Previous experience includes engineering internships at BD, where innovations for blood collection catheter assembly lines were developed, and at Terracon, performing soil compaction tests and concrete quality assurance. Spencer also contributed as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in various research groups, aiding in robotics and biomedical projects. Spencer holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah.
