William Phelps

William (Bill) Phelps, MSW LCSW, is a seasoned professional in social work with extensive experience in child and family services. Currently serving as Assistant Program Manager for the Intensive Treatment Team at WellPower since January 2018, Bill manages clinicians and case managers to reduce youth suicidality through the Stay Safe Partnership. Bill has also held roles as a Child and Family Therapist, providing home-based therapy to support families and children. Additionally, Bill is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Denver's Graduate School of Social Work, where responsibilities include teaching graduate courses and providing clinical supervision. Previous experience includes positions as a Clinical Social Worker at UCHealth, a School Social Worker at Ricardo Flores Magon Academy, and an Intake Caseworker for Arapahoe County, where Bill focused on family assessments and resource provision. Bill's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, both from the University of Denver.
