Mustak Ayub is an Associate Professor at the University of Dhaka in the Department of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology since September 2009, with roles in research and teaching. As the President and Founder of Cancer Care and Research Trust Bangladesh since October 2019, Mustak leads a charitable organization dedicated to supporting cancer patients. Mustak is also the Founder of Moodsinger, a music-streaming app launched in January 2018 that tailors music to users' emotions. Additionally, Mustak has served as Executive Editor for SPL Scientia, a peer-reviewed journal, and holds the position of Director at Scholars Publications Limited, focusing on writing and managing projects. As the CEO of BioReign and former Sub-Dean at Wadham College, Mustak has broad experience in academia and management, complemented by a DPhil in Molecular Oncology from the University of Oxford, where research focused on cancer stem cell markers. Mustak also founded and presided over the Oxford University Bangladesh Society from 2013 to 2015. Degrees include a BSc and MSc in Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology from the University of Dhaka.
