Melanie Boughen began their work experience in 2001 at West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust as a Principal Pharmacy Technician for Education and Training. Melanie worked there until 2009. From 2009 to 2015, they served as the Regional Pharmacy Technician Education Lead for the East of England (Norfolk, Suffolk & Cambridgeshire) through HEE via NHS Norfolk. Since 2015, Melanie has been with the University of East Anglia, holding various roles such as Director of Pharmacy Technician Programmes, Director of Pharmacy Technician Education, and currently serves as the Associate Professor and Director of Pharmacy Technician Education.
Melanie Boughen obtained a Master of Arts degree in Healthcare Education from the University of Suffolk between 2014 and 2017. Melanie is currently a Doctoral Student at the University of East Anglia.
