Martyn Brake currently serves as the Research IT Manager and Senior Experimental Officer at the University of Exeter, overseeing IT for the Department of Astrophysics since September 2013. Previously, Martyn worked as an IT Consultant at AMIS IT Solutions, where innovative solutions were created for small businesses focused on cloud services integration. As IT Manager at Nu-Heat from June 2002 to October 2012, Martyn provided technical support and led a team to meet growing IT demands. Earlier experience includes the role of Management Information Officer at the University of Exeter and Technical Consultant at DAI, where significant contributions were made to data collection systems and analytical capabilities. Martyn earned a Master’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Southampton.
