Enrico Varano

Enrico Varano currently serves as the Head of Data Science at sofi, utilizing advanced data science techniques to develop personalized plant-based solutions for issues like sleeplessness and stress. In parallel, Enrico is a Scientific Researcher at the University of Zurich and a PhD candidate at Imperial College London, focusing on multimodal stimuli for audiovisual hearing aids while also teaching multiple engineering and statistical courses. Previous entrepreneurial ventures include co-founding Reziro, a zero-waste delivery app, and the Electric Skateboard Company, where Enrico developed an innovative electric skateboard. Enrico's experience also includes significant roles such as Structural Analysis Engineer at GKN Aerospace, contributing to substantial cost savings, and research positions at the University of Bristol and The Manufacturing Technology Centre. Enrico holds a PhD in Neurotechnology from Imperial College London, along with an engineering fellowship and a BEng in Engineering Design.
