Mahdie Rafiei

Mahdie Rafiei is currently a Ph.D. Research Associate at the University of Hamburg, focusing on Bioinformatics. Prior to this role, Mahdie worked as a Web Developer from December 2016 to January 2023 at Freelanse, where involvement included front-end programming and the creation of professional websites and web applications. Mahdie also served as a Researcher in Recommender Systems at Islamic Azad University, contributing to a master thesis on cold-start problems in movie recommendation systems. Additional web development experience includes working at Ideh Pardazan and desktop support at TPG International and Domestic Express. Mahdie holds a Master's degree in IT Engineering (E-commerce) from Azad University and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the University of Ershad. Educational background also includes a high school diploma in Mathematics.
