Thomas Ludwig

Thomas Ludwig serves as Geschäftsführer at Deutsches Klimarechenzentrum (DKRZ) while also holding a professorship at Universität Hamburg since May 2009. Prior to this, Thomas Ludwig was a professor at Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg from May 2001 to April 2009 and worked as a Wissenschaftlicher Assistent and Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at Technische Universität München from January 1988 to April 2001. Thomas Ludwig has held visiting professorships at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and École normale supérieure de Lyon. Thomas Ludwig's academic credentials include a Habilitation from Technical University of Munich and a Promotion in Informatik from the same institution, as well as a Diplom in Informatik from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. Education was completed with an Abitur from Adam-Kraft-Gymnasium Schwabach.
