Carrissa Phillippe Williams, PhD, is a licensed psychologist and the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Small Victories Wellness Services, a psychotherapy practice established in November 2017, providing mental health services across Connecticut. In addition to leading Small Victories, Carrissa serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Hartford and is a Board Member for Gilead Community Services, Inc. Previous roles include Co-Founder of TeleHaven and Post Doctoral Fellow at the University of New Hampshire, along with various practicum and research positions focused on psychotherapy and mental health support for diverse populations, including veterans. Carrissa holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Counseling Psychology and a Master’s degree in the same field, both from the University of Kansas, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Northwest Missouri State University.
