Hisham Alnajjar serves as the Dean of the College of Engineering, Technology, and Architecture at the University of Hartford, a position held since August 1995, with previous roles including Interim Dean, Director of the NASA CT Space Grant Consortium, and Associate Dean & Professor of Electrical & Computer Engineering. Prior to joining the University of Hartford, Hisham Alnajjar was an Associate Professor at Austin Peay State University from August 1994 to July 1995, where responsibilities included teaching engineering technology courses and laboratories. Hisham Alnajjar earned a Ph.D. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Vanderbilt University, complemented by a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Ohio University, an Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Damascus University, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Aleppo University.
