Emese Felvegi

Emese Felvegi, Ed.D. is a Senior Professor of Practice and Executive Director of Digital Learning at the University of Houston since August 2013, overseeing the Office of Digital Learning. Prior experience includes serving as an IT Consultant for the Harris County Department of Education, focusing on project management and technology services from August 2011 to May 2020, and working as a Graduate Researcher at the University of Houston-Clear Lake from May 2009 to August 2012. Emese contributed as a Consultant for the Department of Assessment & Evaluation from January 2003 to August 2011, co-authoring national reports on educational assessments. Earlier experience includes the role of National Project Manager/Research Coordinator at the Center for Evaluation Studies from July 1999 to December 2002, specializing in large-scale comparative assessments. Emese holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership with a focus on Technological Capital, along with multiple master's degrees in Reading and Instructional Technology, and a degree in Literature and Language Arts.
