Richard Noble is a Senior Research Associate at the University of Hull, where responsibilities include consultancy, research, and education in fisheries science, management, and freshwater ecology since July 1998. Noble's specific interests encompass ecological assessment of ecosystem health, environmental impact assessment, hydroecology, management of water resources, fish telemetry, and hydropower. Previous experience includes work as a Research Assistant focused on fish communities in wetlands and the conservation of the bittern for the RSPB, as well as post-doctoral research on river health assessment using fish communities.
