Paul Kenis is currently the department head of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Prior to that, they were a postdoctoral research fellow at Harvard University from December 1997 to August 2000. Paul Kenis is a highly respected figure in the world of chemical engineering, and their work has helped shape the field as we know it today.

Paul Kenis studied chemical engineering at the University of Twente, where they obtained their Ph.D. Afterwards, they pursued a Master of Science in Chemistry at Radboud University.

Paul Kenis reports to Jonathan Sweedler, Director, School of Chemical Sciences. They are on a team with Ken Wooldridge - Operations Manager, Cathy Murphy - Dept. Head, Chemistry.
