Ashley Earnest

Ashley Earnest currently serves as the Assistant Director of Media Strategy at the University of Illinois Springfield, where responsibilities include selecting and covering stories to promote the university, supporting media relations, and advising on crisis communication. Previously, Ashley held the position of Assistant Director for Strategic Development Communications at UIS, focusing on marketing and communication tactics to enhance the university brand and fundraising efforts. Prior roles include Owner/Photographer at Wiggly Bee Photography and Iconic Photos by Ashley, Public Relations Manager at Central Illinois Foodbank, and Events Manager at the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce, among others. Ashley's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Communication/Journalism from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and ongoing Master's studies in Communication at the University of Illinois Springfield.
