Laurence Wilse-Samson is a seasoned economist with extensive experience in economic modeling and policy development. Currently serving as the Lead Economist at Oxford Economics and an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Public Service at New York University, Laurence specializes in the Economics of International Development and Public Economics. Previous roles include Director of Policy Research & Economics and Sr. Manager of Policy Research at Bird, as well as an Associate position at Cornerstone Research, where support was provided for financial and economic analysis in commercial litigation. Laurence's career began with a research assistantship under Professor Joseph Stiglitz at Columbia University and includes prior positions at NERA Economic Consulting and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development. Laurence holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Columbia University and multiple degrees, including a Postgraduate Diploma in EC Competition Law from King's College London and an MSc in Economics from The London School of Economics.
