Stella Bvuma

Stella Bvuma currently serves as the Director of the School of Consumer Intelligence and Information Systems at the University of Johannesburg and has held this position since July 2018. Additionally, Stella has been a Co-Faculty Advisor for Enactus since March 2011 and a Non-Executive Director and Deputy Chair at the State Information Technology Agency (SITA SOC Ltd) since February 2022. In the latter part of 2024, Stella is expected to serve as a Non-Executive Director on the South African Tourism Board. Previous roles include Chairperson of the Social and Ethics Committee and Non-Executive Director Board Member at the Small Enterprise Development Agency between October 2020 and April 2022, as well as an Advisory Board Member for PAICTA from May 2020 to February 2022. Stella's earlier career at the University of Johannesburg included the role of End User Computing Manager from January 2006 to January 2016. Stella Bvuma holds a PhD in Information Technology Management from the University of Johannesburg.
