Zoila D. Escobar is the Vice President of Strategic Development and Community Support and President of the AltaMed Foundation. She has an extensive history in the health care field. Ms. Escobar was nominated by the Los Angeles Business Journal as Woman of the Year in 2006 and Received the Mexican American Opportunity Foundation Woman of the Year award in 2007. In 2008, she received the National Latina Business Woman Association L.A. In 2011, she received the 2011 Latino Spirit Awards from the California Latino Legislative Caucus. Ms. Escobar is an alumna and completed both her B.S. in Health Services Administration (2003) and a MBA both from the University of La Verne (2013).
