Shearer West

Shearer West currently serves as an Account Executive at the University of Leeds since November 2024. Prior to this role, Shearer West held the position of President and Vice-Chancellor at the University of Nottingham from October 2017 to December 2024. Additional experience includes serving as Deputy Vice-Chancellor at the University of Sheffield from August 2015 to October 2017 and as Head of Humanities Division at the University of Oxford from August 2011 to August 2015. Shearer West also worked as Director of Research at the Arts and Humanities Research Council from 2008 to 2011.
