Samuel Roberts

Samuel Roberts is an experienced mechanical engineer currently working at the University of Leicester since November 2024. Previously, Samuel held the roles of Head of Engine Integration, Test & Validation and Mechanical Engineer at Cheesecake Energy Ltd from October 2019 to November 2024. Prior to that, Samuel worked as a Development Engineer at ABSL Space Products from June 2018 to January 2020 and as a Senior Engineer, Test & Validation at Intelligent Energy from November 2017 to May 2018. Samuel also has significant experience at ABSL Space Products from May 2010 to October 2017 as a Development Engineer. Samuel earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Astronautics from the University of Southampton, where a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering was also obtained.
