Richard Black

Richard Black is currently serving as the Provost and Deputy Vice Chancellor at the University of Liverpool. Prior to this, Richard was the Pro Vice Chancellor and Head of the College of Social Sciences at the University of Birmingham, and as Pro-Director (Research & Enterprise) at SOAS University of London. Richard was also a Professor of Human Geography at the University of Sussex, where Richard served as the founding Head of the School of Global Studies. Richard holds a Ph.D. in Geography from Royal Holloway, University of London.
