Chad Lacomb

Chad LaComb is an experienced professional in economic development and innovation management. Currently serving as the Director of the Office of Innovation Management at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Chad also held the interim director role in the same office and previously worked as the Economic and Community Development Director. Prior experience includes positions at the Acadiana Planning Commission as an Economic Development Planner II and Senior Economic Development Planner, as well as a Project Specialist. Chad's career began at Lafayette Consolidated Government, where responsibilities included coordinating volunteers and interns from Southern University Law Center. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) in Real Estate Law from Southern University Law Center, a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, and a Bachelor of Science in Botany/Plant Biology, both from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
