Izlin Ismail

Izlin Ismail currently serves as a Professor at the University of Malaya, where tenure began in February 2000 and has progressed through various academic ranks, including Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor. Since September 2021, Izlin holds the position of Deputy Dean Research at Universiti Malaya. Previous roles include Director at the Centre of Business Excellence and Head of the Department of Finance and Banking. Additionally, Izlin worked as Deputy Director at the International Institute of Public Policy and Management (INPUMA) from 2013 to 2015 and has professional experience as an Executive at PETRONAS. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Finance from Nottingham University Business School, an MSc in Investment Management from Bayes Business School, and a BSc in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science. A Levels were completed at Brighton College with a focus on Economics, Physics, and Mathematics.
