Tunku Kamarul Zaman Tunku Zainol Abidin

Tunku Kamarul Zaman Tunku Zainol Abidin is an accomplished academic and executive in the fields of medicine and tissue engineering, currently serving as the Executive Director at the UM Centre for Continuing Education since October 2024. Tunku Kamarul has been a Professor at the University of Malaya since June 2000, leading the Tissue Engineering Group NOCERAL, which focuses on research, education, and services in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine. Additional roles include Deputy Dean of Research and Associate Professor at the University of Malaya, and Director at Universiti Sains Malaysia from July 2021 to October 2024. Previous positions also include CEO and Director at the University Malaya Medical Center. Tunku Kamarul's educational background features advanced degrees in medicine and various specializations, including a PhD in Cell Biology and Behavior from the University of Liverpool and Leadership in Medicine from Harvard Medical School.
