Demi Gao is a Senior Research Fellow at the Bionics Institute since February 2023, focusing on enhancing cochlear implant programming through Functional near-infrared spectroscopy. Concurrently, Demi serves as an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne and has held multiple roles there, including MRFF REDI Fellow and McKenzie Research Fellow, concentrating on the performance and design of biomedical devices.
