Dr Paul Read

Dr. Paul Read is a distinguished academic currently serving as an HDR Supervisor and Examiner at the University of Technology Sydney, Southern Cross University, and Charles Sturt University, focusing on progressive policy issues including sustainability and public health. In addition, Dr. Read holds the position of Editor in Chief at The Australian Fabians and teaches at the CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange, covering topics such as sustainability and climate change. With a robust background as a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne and extensive experience in public health education at Monash University, Dr. Read has contributed to significant research initiatives, including disaster response strategies with Sea Shepherd Australia and criminological studies at the National Centre for Research in Bushfire & Arson. Dr. Read holds a PhD in Global Development from Monash University and has an extensive educational background in psychology, criminology, and media development.
