Gursharan Chana

Gursharan Chana is a highly experienced professional in the fields of biomedical science and neuropathology. Currently serving as Chief Scientist and Director of Biomedical Science at MX3 Diagnostics since July 2017, Gursharan has also held various academic positions at the University of Melbourne since December 2009, including Honorary Senior Research Fellow, Senior Research Fellow & Laboratory Head, and Lecturer. Previous experience includes a tenure as a Senior Researcher at NICTA from March 2013 to March 2014, an Assistant Project Scientist at the University of California, San Diego from April 2006 to November 2009, and a Researcher at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience from 2001 to 2005. Gursharan Chana possesses an extensive educational background from King's College London, including a Ph.D. in Neuropathology and an MSc in Neuroscience, complemented by a Bachelor of Medical Science in Neuroscience.
