Hao Xu

Hao Xu, Ph.D., currently serves as Co-Director of the Master of Marketing Communications Program and Lecturer in Marketing Communications at the University of Melbourne since January 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Instructor of Record and Teaching/Research Assistant at the Hubbard School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Minnesota from August 2019 to December 2022, and as Senior Executive for both External and Internal Communications at MSD from July 2016 to August 2018. Previous academic positions include Teaching Assistant at the Hubbard School of Journalism and Mass Communication and Visiting Researcher in Social Intelligence at Nielsen. Hao Xu earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Mass Communication and a Master of Arts in Mass Communication from the University of Minnesota, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a minor in Public Administration from Fudan University.
