Craig Kelley

Craig Kelley, Jr. is an accomplished communications professional and educator with extensive experience in design and visual communication. Since July 2015, Craig has served as a Communications Associate at the Mott Foundation, where responsibilities include developing visual identity and implementing digital marketing strategies. As a Communications Assistant at the University of Michigan-Flint since August 2022, Craig teaches ART 232: Intro to Typography, focusing on typography principles. Additionally, Craig founded Black Markers, a design studio in Flint, Michigan, highlighting storytelling through design. Prior experience includes serving as a Visual Communications Instructor at Genesee Career Institute, teaching illustration and graphic design. Craig holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the University of Michigan-Flint.
