Rebecca Cunningham

Rebecca Cunningham serves as the President of the University of Minnesota since March 2024, following a distinguished tenure at the University of Michigan from August 2004 to March 2024, where roles included Vice President for Research and Innovation, Professor of Emergency Medicine, and Professor of Health Behavior and Health Education. Additional positions at the University of Michigan involved directing the Injury Prevention Center, and serving as Associate Vice President for Research - Health Sciences, as well as holding various professorships and leadership roles within the Department of Emergency Medicine. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Michigan Medical School and a Bachelor of Science from Fairfield University.
