Anthony Caruso

Anthony Caruso holds a PhD and MS in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, along with dual BA degrees in Mathematics and Physics from Bethany College. Currently serving as the Vice Chancellor for Research and Strategic Initiatives at the University of Missouri-Kansas City since August 2007, Caruso also holds roles as Curators' Professor of Physics and Electrical Engineering and Founding Director of the Missouri Institute for Defense & Energy. Additional positions include Senior Advisor to the President at the University of Missouri System and Director at Critical Materials Crossroads. Caruso's earlier experience encompasses roles as a Research Scientist at North Dakota State University and a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
