Tom Field

Tom Field is a seasoned academic and professional in animal sciences with extensive experience in higher education and agricultural leadership. Currently, Tom serves as a Professor in the Engler Agribusiness Entrepreneurship Program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln since January 2012. Prior to this role, Tom was the Executive Director of Producer Education at the National Cattlemen's Beef Association from 2008 to January 2012. Tom's earlier career includes a tenure as a Professor at Colorado State University from 1989 to 2008, where responsibilities encompassed teaching various courses in beef cattle management and initiating the Beef Industry Leadership Program. Tom holds multiple degrees, including BS, MS, and PhD in Animal Sciences from Colorado State University, completed between 1975 and 1980.
