Casey Stangel

Casey Stangel is an accomplished athletic administrator currently serving as Associate Athletic Director for Administration and Senior Woman Administrator at the University of Nevada, Reno since August 2022. Prior experience includes holding the position of Director of Football Operations and Vanderbilt Baseball Internal Operations Coordinator at Vanderbilt University from August 2017 to August 2022. Stangel also contributed to Major League Baseball as a seasonal intern in Baseball Operations and Labor Relations, where responsibilities included addressing on-field issues and collaborating with MLB executives. As a student-athlete at the University of Washington, notable achievements included participation in the Women's College World Series and recognition on the PAC-12 All-Academic team. Stangel holds a Master of Education in Leadership and Organizational Performance from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Washington. Additional experience includes writing for ESPN, enhancing understanding of student-athlete lifestyles, and supporting baseball operations at the Washington Baseball School.
