Griffin Shelor

Griffin Shelor is a skilled GIS professional with extensive experience in various roles, currently serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Nevada, Reno, focusing on leading lab instruction for GIS courses. Previously, Griffin held significant positions at the University of Vermont Spatial Analysis Lab, including GIS Team Lead and GIS Technician, where responsibilities included leading wetlands mapping projects, digitizing land cover features, and training new team members. Additional experience includes working as a Cartographic Technician for the U.S. Census Bureau, conducting remote sensing research at NASA, and tutoring in quantitative analysis. Griffin holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Green Mountain College and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Geography at the University of Nevada, Reno.
