Lucy Dunderdale Cate

Lucy Dunderdale Cate has extensive experience in executive communications and conflict prevention, currently serving as Deputy Chief of Staff and Director of Executive Communications at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill since August 2019. Prior to this role, Lucy held positions as Executive Communications Manager at the same institution and advised the African Union on conflict prevention. Lucy's academic background includes a Master's degree in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from the University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia. Additionally, Lucy has worked in various capacities with organizations such as the Council on Foreign Relations and the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies.
