Paz Cook is currently a Fulbright Scholar pursuing a PhD in Epidemiology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Gillings School of Global Public Health, with a focus on cancer research. Cook has extensive experience in the field, serving as a member of the American Association for Cancer Research and the Sociedad Chilena de Epidemiología (SOCHEPI). Additionally, Cook has been involved as a research collaborator at the Advanced Center for Chronic Diseases (ACCDiS) since 2016 and holds positions as an associate researcher and study coordinator at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile - Hospital Sotero del Río, where involvement has spanned from 2009 to the present. Cook participated in the Cancer Prevention Fellowship Program at the National Institutes of Health in 2019.
